Mel

Our lovely GSD Mel, rescued from Ingham Council Pound on 23rd April 1996 aged about 2 yrs;
without the help of Chaz and Mans Best Friends unique training she would not have been able to overcome her early frightening experiences;
then without the help of vet David Ashcrofts unique skills she would not have been able to survive the physical results of puppyhood cruelty,  So in reality she was rescued three times.
She made us laugh a lot, she would have done anything for us, and she taught us that you can put the past behind you, get on and enjoy life.
She died gently and peacefully on 22nd January 2010, aged nearly 16yrs, a bright, intelligent, funny, loyal survivor with attitude.
Miss you Mel, the house is empty and quiet without you
