JACK
Jack, a black Lab dog, came to Mans Best Friend in February 1999, when he was 2 ½ years old, unfortunately he was incompatible with the other dog in his household, and although this was a difficult decision Jack had to be re-homed. When he came into rescue he had a good level of obedience, but we had to concentrate on off the lead work, so long line training began, and after a short time, Jack was off the lead.

Jack stayed with us at Mans Best
friend for 4 weeks, when a new home was found for him. And at
the end of February, Jack went to his new home, with his new family mum Elaine,
dad Phil and daughter Zoe. Jack settled in really quickly he was quite a
nice dog, although he did pull on the lead, so extra training had to be given,
Zoe was only an 11 year old, but handled Jack well
Zoe attended training classes on a regular basis, with mum and dad attending,
and she achieved a very good standard of obedience, Jack is obviously getting
spoilt at his new home, as he is Zoes dog, and he is loving every minute
of it, congratulations to Jack and his new family and all the best for the
future..
