DILLON
Dillon a 2 year old black Lab came to us at Man's Best Friend on 19th July 1999, unfortunately for Dillon, his owner had developed a sever allergic reaction to dogs, and was told by the doctor that Dillon had to be re-homed.
Dillon was a very social dog when he came to us, he was very good with people and extremely good with children. He did however need some training, he would get very excited on the lead, and bark at other dogs, off the lead he would tend to have a mind of his own, but generally his overall behaviour and level of training was not too bad.
A
training programme was designed to suit his needs, he responded very well,
and as a consequence he was ready for re-homing quite quickly. The new family
that was found for him was ideal and after 3 weeks he went to Steve and his
family who already have a yellow Lab named Spud. Steve who is a member of
Man's Best Friend and a regular attendee
at our classes with Spud, was able to quickly bond with, and take control
of Dillon.
Dillon is now a settled, and much loved family member, well done to Steve and his family, another Man's Best Friend success story.
