BASSINGHAM SHOW 2004

Bassingham Show - Agility Display - Saturday 7^th August 2004

Man's Best Friend Display Team has been at it again!  We did an agility display at the Bassingham Village Show.  There was plenty to see and do; they had a car boot sale, donkey rides, child’s inflatable assault course, vintage cars, the all important beer tent, and much more. 

The show opened at 2pm and our display was due to run at 2.30pm. We turned up about 11.30am on the day to get the arena prepared and the two gazebos put up. Our display team consisted of myself with Maya (as trainers), Graham with Eddie, Ann with Zak & Oska, Teresa with Sadie & Hugo, Sue with Badger, Pat with Nessie and Sue with Billy.

Even though it was very hot, the team did a great job, and the spectators really enjoyed the display, I introduced everyone over the PA system, whilst the team went through their paces. (I was glad when that was over!) I don’t like ‘public speaking’.

The show committee donated £100 to Man's Best Friend, which has been put toward a new 'dog walk' for the Sunday agility classes; we have also been asked to do next years show.
